General faculty include guest instructors, skill evaluators, subject matter experts, and adjunct instructors. General faculty will be vetted by Human Resources as a 1099 employee at least two weeks prior to their contact with students. Requests for general faculty originate with the lead instructor and are sent through the program director to Human Resources.
All offers of employment at Raven Advisory, LLC companies are contingent upon clear results of a thorough background check

Orientation of all faculty is the responsibility of the program director and may be delegated to appropriate lead instructors. At a minimum, the following elements must be included in new general faculty orientation:
All faculty are encouraged to participate in any classes being delivered by Raven Advisory, Gryphon Group, Raven Medical, or Raven Technology at no cost to the instructor except consumables and fees charged to Raven. These courses include preparatory classes for certification and licensure testing. Where Raven is a training site and has the ability to credential new instructors (i.e. AHA, ARC, or NAEMT courses), instructors are encouraged to add these instructor credentials at no cost to the instructor except consumables and fees charged to Raven. Instructors are also requested to attend a large number of conferences and expos throughout the country to represent Raven at a booth and in educational courses.
