Section 7.62 - AEMT Program

Some requirements for a future AEMT program include:

Prerequisite of twelfth-grade reading level assessment or high school diploma or GED (NCOEMS, 2022)
Maximum student-to-instructor ratio will be eight (8) students for each lab or skills instructor (NCOEMS, 2023)
Minimum didactic and lab time of 160 hours (NCOEMS, 2023)
Minimum clinical time of 48 hours (NCOEMS, 2023)
Minimum field experience time of 48 hours (NCOEMS, 2023)
