In addition, Military and Civilian EMT-P with an Advanced Medical Training course to further prepare or hone their knowledge and skills for their austere working environments and to provide recertification in skills requiring such; To provide a practical foundation in Wilderness Medicine for medical professionals; To teach patient assessment and treatment guidelines for life support until definitive care or evacuation is available; To train the provider in methods to manage medical, dental and trauma emergencies and urgencies in the Combat Environment or wilderness when evacuation is unavailable or unnecessary; To teach techniques and guidelines for Military, Tactical and Wilderness evacuations. To obtain a National Registry EMT-P Certification. |

This course meets the Paramedic National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) requirement of a total of 60 credits of continuing education to recertify.
Must have a USAJFKSWCS Certificate of training for 300F1, SOCM or SFMS or DD214 demonstrating completion of the above; Must be a US SOCOM Special Operations Combat Medic with a state EMT-P certification (expired or current); US Army Special Forces Medical Sergeant with a state EMT-P certification; US Navy Corpsman w/EMT-P certification; US Air Force Independent Duty Technician w/ EMT-P certification; MD, PA, RN, State and/or National Registry EMT-P or working in a position requiring such training. Any of the above with a current or expired ATP certification.
At least 10% of the total credits include pediatric content.
