Student Risk Assessment Form

The Course you are attending conducts “High Risk” dynamic exercises in fluid, realistic conditions that REQUIRE the following conditions: (Every attending student signs a written statement promising to adhere to these rules.)

1. Gryphon will provide experienced Instructors and Senior Instructors who have been vetted, intensely trained, and conducted hundreds to thousands of exercises relating to this specific POI.
2. ALL students MUST be motivated to participate in the training and STRICTLY adhere to the parameters of the exercises as directed by the instructors.
3. As of January 2012, over 28,000 war-fighters have graduated from Gryphon Group Training Programs with NO deaths, gun shot wounds, or career-ending injuries. We have NEVER had a negligent discharge on our live fire range—which cannot be said of MOST military bases or federal agencies.
4. All students must be present each morning at the designated time for muster at Gryphon Groups Ft. Bragg Combat Training Center located at 16780 Airbase Rd. Maxton, NC 26364. If not, the student will be dropped from class and sent back to his or her unit.

Each Student MUST participate in ALL exercises and activities to successfully complete this course. There are 3 ways to be “Stood Down” from this training course:

1. The student sustains an injury that will preclude continued participation.
2. The student has reached a “saturation point” and is judged by the instructor, in his sole discretion, to be at risk if continuing on to the next level of difficulty.
3. The student is obviously not motivated to conduct the training and/or exceeds or disregards the safety parameters of the exercise and/or refuses to participate in a particular drill or exercise or is not present at morning muster and safety brief. Such a student will be immediately removed from training and sent back to his or her command.

ALL OF GRYPHON’S TRAINING RANGES ARE EQUIPPED WITH BASIC AID BAGS AND TRAINED PERSONNEL. LIFE FLIGHT COORDINATION AND LOCAL TRAUMA FACILITIES ARE NOTIFIED.
