Didactic lessons may be offered in non-traditional classroom delivery methods. Regardless of the delivery method chosen by the instructor, the course syllabus will provide the necessary information for students and accrediting bodies to review lessons. Examples of methods are listed below, however, instructors may select new technology or methods not described. In the event of a method not described below, recordings or availability for review of instructional material must be made for all accrediting and inspection agencies.
In all cases, instructors will do the following:
User accounts and passwords will be made available to accrediting bodies upon request by the Deputy Director of EMS or the Program Director.
Dates, times, and links to attend lessons will be included in the syllabus and schedules submitted to accrediting bodies and students. These lessons will be recorded, if possible and saved for later retrieval by students unable to attend and for quality purposes.
Recordings and interactive material will have permanent links when possible for later retrieval by students and accrediting bodies. When permanent links are not possible, as much of the lesson shall be downloaded or recorded as possible to ensure quality review and archival of material.
Videos that are required to be viewed by students will be available in such a method that tracks if the video was watched in its entirety and if it was watched at a realtime speed. Only when the entire video is watched at real-time speed will student completion be logged.
